ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Biomedical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, , under the General Criteria and the Bioengineering, Biomedical and Similarly Named Engineering Programs Program Criteria.

Program Educational Objectives

  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates apply and synthesize information to become leaders in biomedical engineering.
  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates participate in scholarly and/or professional development activities by attending graduate, post-professional health school, or medical school.

  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates share the value of their profession in the community by participating in educational outreach activities to promote biomedical engineering.

  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates show an appreciation for global innovation by integrating new technologies in biomedical engineering
