Accreditation Candidacy

Candidate status is an indication that a program in healthcare management has voluntarily committed to participate in a plan of self-improvement and is actively progressing toward the status of accreditation. Candidate status is not accredited status and does not guarantee eventual accredited status.

As part of its CAHME Candidacy, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ MHA Program will engage in its self-study year beginning Fall 2024 and continuing through Summer 2025. A self-study year provides the details and data-gathering opportunities needed to review a program necessary for the accreditation decision by the CAHME Board of Directors.
