The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, also known also known as R.C.I.A., is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism who are above the age of infant baptism. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices. Other processes are available for individuals who have been already baptized but have not yet completed the other Sacraments of Initiation: Confirmation and/or First Holy Communion.

Interested in more information?

If you are:

• a baptized Catholic interested in receiving information on completing your Sacraments of Initiation with Confirmation or First Eucharist, or
• a (baptized) Christian who is interested in becoming Catholic, or
• anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic through the reception of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist, or
• anyone who is interested in learning more about that Catholic faith.
