APB Spring Concert 2025 with Adam Paddock and Chelsea Cutler

The Highmark Events Center was beaming with energy during the Activity Programming Board’s (APB) free concert featuring opener Adam Paddock and headliner Chelsea Cutler on April 26. Students, faculty and staff enjoyed a night of great music as they rocked out together to these artists.

Adam Paddock opened the concert with some original songs, as well as some covers. He engaged the crowd by giving out merchandise and hopping off the stage into the crowd to dance.

“Adam was super cool to interact with,” said Emily Hale, a senior Radiologic Sciences major. “He wanted to make sure he was able to meet everybody who was in line, and he made an effort to make a personal connection with us by getting to know our names. His music was also great, and now I have a few new songs on my playlist.”

Once he was done performing, Adam joined the students, faculty and staff to watch Chelsea Cutler perform.

Chelsea Cutler, known for her collaboration with Jeremy Zucker and Noah Kahan, headlined the event. The majority of songs she sang were originals, including a few she performed for the first time. The intimate setting of the concert allowed her to bring a student on stage to learn how to use her sampler, a device that allows you to record sounds and play them back. In between songs, Chelsea sparked conversation with the audience and talked about her personal experiences and how her career began.

“I have been listening to Chelsea Cutler since 8th grade,” said Jess McCracken, a junior environmental engineering major. “I am happy that APB selected her for the concert this year.”

APB puts on a concert every other year for the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community. It is typically held in the spring as a way to wrap up the academic year.
