The Office of Global Support and Student Engagement strives to foster a welcoming environment for all students and their families of diverse cultural identities. We serve students on F and J visas through orientation, advocacy, resource referrals, cultural programming, and immigration advising.

Changes to Duration of Status

Beginning September 15, 2026, new duration-of-status requirements will affect international students studying on F and J visas. Review guidance for ESL, undergraduate and graduate students, including information about transfers, program changes, grace periods, OPT and extensions of stay.
