Join the Scientists from the Regional Science Consortium and Gannon University to participate in Summer Season of STEM! Students (Boys and Girls ages 12+) will have the opportunity to experience local, place-based scientific learning opportunities alongside the changing seasons of Erie. This Summer Session will include a two-day, one-night camp on the campus of Gannon University. Participation in the Winter and Spring Sessions will permit students to register for this camp. Students will complete scientific sampling methods aboard ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s “Environaut” research vessel, collect fish by seining, trapping, and electrofishing, learn how to identify different species of plants and animals, and assist with national priority wetland restoration on Presque Isle State Park. This program is free for students who are member schools of the Regional Science Consortium. This program is supported by Erie Insurance.
